Okay, so I know that the rest of the world has been scrobbling for a while… let’s see how good this thing really is.

Firstly, the official Last.fm app for the Mac runs only on Tiger and could be better.

iScrobbler and Amua are a fine pair of programs that work together to achieve apparently better functionality than Last.fm.app in a more compact way. iScrobbler scrobbles (tracks the music to which you are listening and sends the information off to Last.fm) whereas Amua acts as a radio.

I’ve just told Amua that I should like to listen to ‘similar music to New Order’. Röyksopp, Teenage Fanclub and the B-52′s are the last three bands to have been played.
