I mentioned yesterday that I had signed up for another free trial with eMusic. Well, one of the Cocteau Twins tracks failed to download properly.

One feature of eMusic that certainly beats the iTunes Music Store is that subscribers can download the tracks they have bought as many times as they like, thus obviating the need to make secure backups.
However, in my haste to ensure that I would not be charged for forgetting to cancel the account, I had already cancelled the account. Consequently, I was left with nine tenths of the Cocteau Twins’ Treasure. So, why am I sorry?

Well…

I used my credit card to sign up this time, rather than my debit card. Now, having downloaded the missing track, another Cocteaus album, Belle & Sebastian’s “The Life Pursuit” and two more tracks which, for shame, I shall avoid naming, I have cancelled my third free trial.
