Update on the tulip

My most astonishingly successful Flickr photograph peaked at number 2 in the interestingness rankings. I remain flabbergasted and, at the time of writing, the thing has had 538 views in 10 days.

I do like the picture but still find it hard to accept that one which represents a style of photography that so largely fails to interest me has beaten my own favourite pictures in to a Tysonesque pulp.
