Königin Elisabeth II ist die Chefin des Inselstaates Großbritannien. Genauer gesagt des “Vereinigten Königreiches Großbritannien und Nordirland”. Auch Schottland gehört dazu. Und das seit fast genau 300 Jahren. Da haben sich England und Schottland zusammengeschlossen.

I appreciate that I’ve been playing on the Wii a lot lately, but why have I first heard that it’s the 300 birthday of the United Kingdom today from a German news site aimed at kids?
