Apparently, a standard cycling time trial in this country is 10 miles. Coincidentally, what is becoming my standard evening cycle ride is 10.4 miles (the route on Bikely does not include the trip from home to the junction of Blackpool Road and Ribbleton Avenue).

According to my new cycle computer, I completed that circuit last night in 40′36″. Now, considering that I wasn’t actually intending it to be a time trial, I don’t think that’s a bad start. I do think this could be a good use of Google docs.
