Apparently, a current TV advert describes children as the most exciting people. In today’s Lancashire Evening Post that keen letter writer Nameand Address-Supplied of South Ribble writes about how these exciting people constantly annoyed residents during the Easter holidays with their football games.

The letter concludes:

Basically, if their entertainment is not provided electronically at the push of a button, they are lost. Exciting people? You’ve got to be joking.

Now I understand it: the kids were playing Sensible Soccer.
